New Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin Micho Sredejovic initially summoned six foreign based players prior the the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 qualifiers.
That is Taddeo Lwanga (Simba SC), Abdu Lumala (Pyramids FC), Moses Waiswa (Super Sport United), goalie Ismael Watenga (Chippa United), Joseph Ochaya (TP Mazembe), Khalid Aucho (Young African) and skipper Emmanuel Okwi (Al Ittihad) despite having returned home earlier thus immediately joining the local based camp.

Positive is he last featured last weekend in a one all stalemate against Misr Le Makasa meaning he has got the needed match fitness.
The combative midfielder recently crossed to Tanzanian side Young African and before the national team call up he had last actively played on 09th May 2021 for then his club Misr Le Makasa in their barren stalemate against Al Masry in the Egyptian Premier League.
Ochaya has been currently at his TP Mazembe side in Pre-season ahead of the 2021/22 DRC Linfoot Premier League.
Before Micho summoned the Cranes, the skipper had last featured in a competitive match on 10th June 2021 against South Africa in an international friendly match. At his Egyptian side Al Ittihad, he last played on 28th May 2021 away at Aswan.
