From Serbia to Uganda, Ilic Milosh went on record as the first European to feature in the Uganda Premier League while at the now defunct Sports Club Victoria University in 2012.
The stylish midfielder whose touch on the ball was never doubted joined SCVU after being sported by fellow country man and coach Ivan Zoric (SCVU head coach then) while they were still in the FUFA Big league and played a role in their promotion on first attempt the same year.
While in the UPL, Milosh put up some eye catching displays with his silky touch and ball control but his physique affected him a lot as he was bullied by the opposition on a number of occasions before partying ways with club in January 2013.
Because he had got used to the environment and culture of Uganda, Milosh never returned to Serbia and later joined URA FC for a short stint before which was his last club before unceremoniously quitting 11V11 football to date but before he coached young kids at Kampala International School of Uganda and also featured in different futsal gala tournaments.
He currently coach at the Youth football Academy U13 based in Uganda and officially married to a Ugandan woman with the couple blessed with one child.
With KCCA FC unveiling Italian midfielder Stefano Mazengo Loro last evening via the KCCA FC TV on Sanyuka TV, he will automatically become the second European player to feature in the Uganda Premier League.
