Ugandan international ace William Luwagga Kizito can’t wait for the new 2020/21 Israel Ligat Ha’al at his Hapoel Kfar Saba side.
With the former Shakter Karagandy player ending the previous season on a high, he has set his bar high come next season with lots of optimism to achieve his goals.
“Last season that team had just got promoted and our target was to remain in the league which we achieved and come next season we want to compete for top positions which is possible because the team is good.”
He told bigwhale sports.
“As for my personal targets, I want to better my previous season performance as well as becoming a main stay in the team and all this will only be achieved by working very hard as well as praying to God.”
About the competition in the Israel Ligat Ha’al,
“The league is very good with fantastic organization, good stadiums as well as very competitive with very many talented players which pushes me to work harder.”
In his maiden season at the Tel Aviv based side, Luwagga who got injured and sat out for three months weeks after joining featured in ten games, netting twice, getting booked twice as raking a total of 488 minutes.
His match winning displays towards the end of the season earned him a contract extension that will expire in June 2021.
Hapoel Kfar Saba have already started training prior to the 2020/21 season and so is Timothy Awany’s Ashdod FC.
