Uganda U-20 forward Ivan Bogere won’t be playing in the Uganda Premier League next season despite a number of offers from UPL clubs including top sides, this website has exclusively learnt.
Vipers SC, KCCA FC, SC.Villa, Kyetume FC, Wakiso Giants, Mbarara City and UPDF FC have all approached Bogere through his representatives with the forward nearly agreeing terms with Villa and KCCA FC before deals falling through at the eleventh hour.
Despite the above mentioned clubs still chasing the former Proline FC player, it looks like he won’t be playing in Uganda as he is set to fly out once again to UAE for possible moves to Al- Nasr and Al-Aine.
Last year in October, Bogere vanished from Proline only to mysteriously be sighted in Dubai at UAE giants Al-Nasr SC before the move hitting a dead end due to a number of technicalities.
He has since returned to Uganda and was also recently reported to be heading to Spanish side Villarreal for trials as soon as the airports are opened after securing the necessary documents but after his representatives weighing onto the available options, he will first go back to UAE soon.
