Kyetume FC have continued to beef up their squad ahead of the new season with the aquisition of Ezra Bida and goalkeeper Derrick Were from Onduparaka FC and Buganda regional league side Kiyinda Boys FC each on a two-year contract, bigwhale sports has learnt.
The duo have previously been in negotiations with the slaughters until they finally reached an agreement.
The development means Bida who joined the Caterpillars from Koboko Rising Stars in 2017 reunites with his former coach Charles Livingston Mbabazi who is the current Kyetume gaffer.
For the highly rated custodian Were who made his name while in the Masaza tournament and the University league with Singo, Buddu and Uganda Christian University, Mukono, he is expected to bring in serious competition in the goalkeeping department that already has Joel Mutakubwa.
The duo join striker Raymond Walugembe amongst the new signings in the ongoing window with Rashid Muhammad from Onduparaka FC expected to be confirmed soon.
In their debut season, the Slaughters finished in 11th place on 30 points from 25 games.
