New Onduparaka FC custodian sets target ahead of new season

Custodian Austine Opoka Atiino completed his move to Arua based side Onduparaka FC on a two-year contract on Saturday as a free agent having parted ways with Busoga United.

The lanky goalie upon his unveiling expressed his delight before disclosing his targets while at the Caterpillars.

“I feel humbled and honoured being home and it’s where I believe I can have a great platform to rebuild my career.”

He exclusively told www.bigwhalesports.com before adding.

“My target is to work hard and commit my self to the club I also want to be one of the best goalkeepers in the league in the coming season.”

At Onduparaka, Opoka will battle off competition for the number one choice with former SC.Villa goalie Yusuf Wasswa.

He has previously featured for Spartans FC, Kamwokya United and Kampala University in the University Football League were he won the trophy in 2016 as well as winning the best goalkeeper’s award in the same edition.
