Tanzanian giants Simba SC have confirmed the capture of Uganda Cranes holding midfielder Taddeo Lwanga.
This website recently reported that the hard tackling midfielder had been seen in Arusha and held talks with Simba SC according to MwanaspotiTZ.
Lwanga then returned to Uganda to sort out a few things and again flew out of the country over the weekend for Duty in Tanzania.
With his experience and ability, Lwanga was identified as a “ready-made” replacement for injured Brazilian Gerson Fraga.
He was a free agent after parting ways with Egyptian side Tanta FC due to breach of his contract a few months ago.
He joins Nicholas Wadada, Cleo Setuba, Boban Zirintusa, amongst others as Ugandans currently in the Tanzanian Vodacom Premier League.
