Emmanuel “Song” Olinga is officially a free agent following expiry of his contract at Maroons FC.
The former Uganda Cubs (U17) assistant skipper was part of Maroons FC unsuccessful 2019/20 UPL campaign that saw them get relegated after the league prematurely ended due to the pandemic Covid-19.
Despite Maroons FC showing willingness to renew his contract, the player doesn’t seem interested as he wants to continue playing in the top tier league.
A number of UPL clubs have expressed interest in acquiring the services of Olinga with the player still weighing options.
Olinga has previously featured for Gor Mahia Youth side, Water FC and Onduparaka FC at club level, Kololo SS and Dynamic SS at High School level while in national colours he has played for the U17 side and the Hippos (U20).
