Star Times FUFA Big League: It’s top against bottom as Proline hosts relegated Bumate

Proline FC vs Bumate FC@Star Times Stadium, Lugogo- 4pm.

Proline FC will be hoping to return to winning ways when they host already relegated Bumate FC in the Star Times FUFA Big League match day 17 this evening at the Star Times Stadium.

With four points separating the first (Proline) and fourth (Dove FC) in the Rwenzori group, the hosts can’t afford to drop any more points and are highly hoping to massacre Bumate despite describing them a hard side according to head coach Shafiq Bisaso

“We are facing a hard tean but we are going to fight so hard to get those points”,

he said in a prematch press conference.

“We don’t have any small game left for us, we lead the log with one point but that doesn’t put pressure on us”.

He added.

The hosts who won the first encounter 0-3 away at Nyahuka in Bundibugyo thanks to Arnold Sserunjogi, Mustafa Mujuzi and Hakin Kiwanuka strikes will miss the services of skipper Noordin Bunjo and experienced centre half Mustafa Mujuzi through suspension as well as injured Ismail Kabugu but on the other side the good news is the timely return of Tried and tested defender Saka Mpiima from injury

Despite winning two matches this season, Bumate were docked six and six goals for failure to honour two league fixtures against Dove FC and Kabale Sharp which makes them already relegated with no point and -46 goal difference from 16 games.

A win for Proline will drive them to 37points on 17 games and will wait for what comes out from the matches involving direct rivals Kiboga, Kansai Plascon and Dove FC tomorrow.
