Transfers: Two South African top flight sides chasing for APR FC midfielder’s hot cake signature

Rwanda Premier League giants APR FC are set to lose the services of silky midfielder Andrew Buteera, this website has learned.

Buteera whose contract runs out at the end of this season is understood to be in talks with two South African Premier League sides Maritzburg United and Golden Arrows for a potential move in the summer.

South African clubs aside, Iraq top tier sides Erbil FC and Al Shorta are also eyeing the former Proline FC midfielder with the former accepting to football his travel bills to go seal the move according to close sources.

Buteera who is was earlier this season loaned out to AS Kigali before returning to APR joined the army side in 2012 making it a decade of distinguished service.

He was part of the Rwanda U17 side that reached the AFCON U17 finals in 2011 losing 2-1 to Burkina Faso at the Stade Amahoro before featuring the U17 FIFA World cup in the same Year in Mexico.
