Uganda drops in the latest FIFA ranking

Uganda has dropped one place in the latest FIFA rankings that were released on Wednesday 7th of April 2021.

The Pearl of Africa dropped from 83rd position in February to 84th out of the 210 Members ranked by the world football governing body.

Uganda’s drop in rankings follows their disappointing results in the just concluded 2021 AFCON qualifiers where they lost to Malawi 1-0 in Blantyre and the goalless draw against Burkina Faso at st Mary’s stadium in kitende last month.

However, despite the drop, Uganda remains East Africa’s Best ranked country with 1286.76 points and 17th position in Africa .

Kenya dropped by one place to 104 with 1187 points. Kenya is also second to Uganda as the best country in the CECAFA region.

The next FIFA World Ranking will be released on 27 May 2021.

Belgium remains the best football country followed by France and also senegal remains the best football Nation in Africa .
