In this Edition, Uganda is represented by two players that is custodian Denis Onyango at Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa and defender Savio Kabugo at Jwaneng Galaxy of Botswana.
Onyango played full time in goal as Sundowns beat Sudan side Al Hilal Omdurman 1-0.
Kabugo played full time and also got booked in the 23rd minute as his Jwaneng Galaxy lost 4-0 at Tunisia giants Esperance.

Joseph Ochaya wasn’t in the match day squad as his TP Mazembe beat Congo Brazaville side Otoho D’oyo 1-0 at home.
Taddeo Lwanga wasn’t in the match day squad as he is just returning from a lay off. His Simba SC side beat Ivory Coast side Asec Mimosas 3-1 at home.
Custodian Charles Lukwago kept a clean sheet as his St. George FC beat 10-man Wolkite Kenema 4-0 on the road in the Ethiopian Premier League.
