Uganda U-20 forward set to sign with Russian Sports management agency

Uganda U-20, Hippos striker Yiga Najib could join Russian sports management agency Agbeve Ksports management soon if all goes according to plan.

The 18 year old is already in advanced negotiations and he is expected to finalise soon.

Yiga caught the eye of the Komlan Agbeve owned agency while with the Uganda U-17 national team the Cubs during the U-17 AFCON championship tournament in Tanzania last year and also the CECAFA U-20 championship in Gulu were he put up a couple of decent displays.

The goal poacher was scouted by St.Marys SS Kitende from Kisozi Seed SS and also featured for the Vipers SC Junior side before being promoted to the senior side in the just concluded season that was halted by Covid-19 but didn’t feature in any game for the Venoms.

Brief about Agbeve Ksports management.

It is a Russian sports agency owned by Komlan Agbeve. It represents and managers a number of players from different countries including Ugandans, William Luwagga Kizito and Steven Mukwala.
